Kimbel Construction builds the highest crafted one-of-a-kind projects in the Louisville area for selective homeowners who choose and want to work with a local family-owned business. Our hands-on approach and genuine personalized service is what differentiates us from the competition and is why our clients choose to work with us year after year. Our projects tend to be finely detailed and architecturally challenged designs that not many contractors can complete. We excel at building fine homes on large acreage tracts that require the highest level of coordination and workmanship to complete.

We are completely transparent in everything we do and we aim to make the building or renovation process the best experience for all involved. We don’t just meet client expectations, we set the highest bar for others to try to emulate.
Our clients love our work and we stay busy year-round building and renovating for new and repeat clients. Because of this demand, we do not estimate projects in hopes that we are awarded a project. Instead, we meet with and interview potential clients, show them our past work, have them talk to past clients and if they like what they see and hear, we ask them to select us as their design-build contractor before we start designing and/or estimating their project. The clients who choose to work with us love our quality hand-crafted workmanship, enjoy working with our loyal team of contractors/vendors and price is often considered secondary. We operate and sell our projects based on a cost plus a fixed contractor management fee and because of this, our clients always receive a fair price whether they are renovating a home or building a distinct one-of-a-kind home.

Vince Kimbel, is a hands-on kind of contractor. He is your main contact when working with a partnered architect to create the perfect plan, someone you will see on-site verifying the details of the project are not missed and a guy you will feel at ease to call to assist with any question before, during and after your project is complete. He is passionate about making a client's project an enjoyable custom experience by including energy efficiency benefits that the client will reap the rewards long after the project is completed. Outside of work, Vince plays competitive volleyball, is known for his bartending skills amongst friends and loves Caribbean cruising with his wife Angela and son Jordan.
Kelly Doyle, Vince's sister and "right arm associate" has been in the home building and remodeling industry since 2002 when Vince convinced her to leave another job and work with him. Kelly has been the go-to in the Kimbel office for bidding projects, preparing proposals, keeping up with client selections, making sure the details are compiled into an organized format before needed. When not working, you will find Kelly enjoying time with her family and fitting in as much time as possible on her spin and road bike (even if that means fitting a workout at 5 am).
You may be asking yourself how does this brother/sister team work together so well? Kelly and Vince give credit to their parents for teaching them to "do it right the first time" and for giving them an entrepreneurial spirit to care about everything they do and give each task 100%! These two are a great team bouncing ideas off one another on a daily basis to work smarter, not harder and to make each custom project a wonderful experience for the selective homeowner.
As our projects have grown in size, Vince and Kelly needed a few extra hands in the office to serve client's needs. Beth Beyers has joined our team! Beth was their sales rep at the local plumbing showroom and when she moved out of state they thought this would be the perfect opportunity to invite her to join them remotely to assist with all things in the office. Her knowledge of plumbing, appliances, lighting, cabinetry and more is a huge asset to the team. When off the computer, Beth loves to travel and spend time with family.
